After a decade at big commercial architecture firms in Washington DC Athena Monet followed her desire to escape the corporate world and relocated with her family to the tiny beach town of Lewes, Delaware, hours from the city. Only three months after her move she experienced painful loss of several close family members and the crumbling of her marriage. On the edge of debilitating loneliness and grief in tandem with the overwhelm of mothering three small children, Athena manifested mysterious illness and chronic gastrointestinal pain and found herself lost with nowhere to turn when traditional western medicine could provide no answers and no relief.

Upon the recommendation of a friend to visit a local Medicine Woman Athena found miraculous healing and a calling into what is traditionally recognized as Shamanic Initiation. She learned that the medicine she needed to heal wasn’t only for her body, it was for her Soul.
